Well, that seems entirely appropriate given that your surname begins with C. Wonder if they make any nice H-shaped cake tins... (Congrats to MrM for his quick thinking in a tight spot. I might need to call upon him for help one of these days...)
ReplyDeleteBut wait - did you send that cake all the way from Bhutan???
Mr. M really thinks on his feet, doesn't he?
ReplyDeleteI think he deserves a treat. perhaps a nice slice of cake?
ha ha, that is awesome!
ReplyDeleteChef's privilege I feel - Lovely plate btw - so much more stylish than the Chez Bebbs metalware of Sunday morning croissant fame ;o)
ReplyDeletethanks Mr M - must remember that one!
ReplyDeleteIt appears you have the same cake eating fairies in your house as we have in mine.
ReplyDeleteThat cake looks delicious--in any shape! I'm now very tempted to get you a 'C' shaped cake tin at Divertimenti! K x
ReplyDeleteI used those very same sugar flowers on a chocolate cake this weekend. I always enjoy them on spring time cakes.
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks a lot like the pound cake I made on Saturday! Splitting it in half for more icing, what a fabulous idea!
ReplyDeleteI'd have taken it the whole way down to a 'u'. It looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteHow clever of you!
ReplyDeleteVery Quick!

ReplyDeleteOh I missed this post! I think I need to go out and get one of those new C cake tins! HeeHee
ReplyDeleteNice cover.
ReplyDeleteCertainly Williams-sonoma has ALL of the letters of the alphabet in cake tins.
