A Blue and Yellow World

Get out your sunglasses!

This is September sunshine

dazzling on autumn leaves,

shimmering on lemons

and glowing on Malus 'Golden Hornet'.

MrsM is my sunshine ;-)

Stunning shots, MrsM. Stunning. And to think of all the years when I grew up in England I don't think we had sunshine more than three summers.

It has clearly changed now!

It looks a bit like that here today - but it is cooooold sun. I thought about putting my boots on today, but stuck with crocs, which I am now regretting.

Lovely sunshiny pics, pefect for today when it was actually warmer outside in the sun than in the house.

Are those first flowers echinoptera? (sp?)We have white and purple (coneflowers we call them). Summer has about 4 seasons and they all seem to have a different color. This is my favourite time of the year. Beautiful pictures. I like the first one best.

Thank you all - I thought I better record the sunshine before we shut down for the winter. But Carolyn is right - it is cold, Tracy, far too cold for Crocs, Val. And the fact that I took these photos should indicate that it is out of the ordinary so don't emigrate Breadbox. And I think you are right, Anne, but they are not mine so I can't be sure.

Aaaaaaah. It was sunny here too for a little while.

I don't think it's possible for you to take a bad picture. Those are almost . . . palpable.
