Words

I don't listen to music these days.
There is no room for the sound.

My head is full of words.

Words which press against my forehead
and spill over the edges.

It is as though a valve has been released
and I find it a strange experience.

I don't always feel in control of the flow.

Does anyone know what I am talking about?
Do you have any advice?

I hardly ever have music - meanwhile, it is all around me as the people I live with cannot live without it.

As for words, I talk too much.

Sometimes it's the music that brings the words - for me. But, I get what you mean. Nicely said.

Welcome to ChezMagpie, Kellan. I realise now that I am practically the only person in the whole world who doesn't listen to music. I think that I am going to need therapy after all.

Hmmm sounds like you are doing the right thing. I turn the radio up or i put in a cd and crank the volume. I couldn't do what your doing.
