A Cotton Scarf

I am knitting a scarf
in cream cotton moss stitch.

It will be very plain
and soothing to wear.

It is a shame that I cannot knit faster
because 'soothing' would be good right now.

I have just noticed that it is February
which makes me wonder what happened to January...

Did I blink?

Damn it.
I LOVE MOSS STITCH, and I am unable to do it.

I certainly blinked.

I love moss stitch, too! But have never tried to knit it. Maybe we should start a support group.

I always forget how pretty moss stitch is. That cream cotton suits it very well.

January was cold and wet and grey, you didn't miss much!

I can almost feel the softness of that cotton. Moss stitch is worth the tediousness of knitting it I think, I love the texture.

do you mind if i knit said...

Moss stitch is one of those patterns thatlooks fantastic, and complicated to knit.......... and is complicated to knit! Lovely scarf....... and it looks so soft!

Moss stitch is a bit of a pain to knit (I kind of get hypnostised and get it wrong...) but it's sooo wonderful.

That wool looks really soft.

That looks so soft and warm and inviting.

February? That must be why it's going to be 25 degrees (C) today here. No need for scarves any more....

Is moss stitch hard? I am just mesmerized by the neatness of your edges. I need edge assistance.
