We are doing Grown-Up Shopping :
Cocktail Dresses, High-Heeled Boots, Gorgeous Handbags,
Skimpy Vests, Fabulous Perfume, Tailored Coats.
And now we are in the Haberdashery
because MissM needs some thread.

Betwixt and between. Such is the lot of a teenager.
You're never too old for your teddy bear! I still have mine.
Must be a very well loved teddy! I still have the red bunny I was given at 6 months old. I am trying to defend him against the Smalls ...
I might just add that I also purchased black thread to mend my school skirt. Now I think this is a Very Grown Up thing to do. Anyway who can just sit by when there is a teddy bear with a frayed ear?
You can't dress up their hearts to make them look older!
Oh, I yearn for the days when my girls will do.their.own.mending!
Miss M is right - I think she is showing great maturity in going to the assistance of a sore eared Teddy.
teddy bear mending shows that Miss M has concerns for others, is kind and nurturing, and not wasteful of resources, even old and tattered bears, - I mean you could have been shopping for a new bear too.
You go, MissM! I'm very impressed with your mending promptness. You inspire me to fix the hem on the skirt I wore to church yesterday which is currently fixed with safety pins and scotch tape.
