We started on the hot cross buns some days ago and have eaten our way through packs from Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury's. I'm not going to tell you exactly how many, though.

Oh gosh ... just got back from the market (lamb, salmon, new potatoes, asparagus, lemons, wine, herbs and flowers) and I forgot all about hot cross buns. How did I do that? I just hope the parish offers them on Easter morning or my family will be disappointed. There was a day when I would have made them from scratch ... before I became addicted to reading and needlepoint!

I love visiting your fun and beautiful blog (with fabulous name) ... Happy Easter!

It was morning tea for us.

But this year we had gluten-free ones.

They're just not the same.

We had hot cross buns too, while we were shoving everything in the car to come and visit my father in law.

Hope you're having a lovely weekend.

And did you make them yourself?
