The Blue Bowls

Some people treat themselves
by buying handbags or shoes,
nail varnish or perfume.

I buy china.

Last week,
after a long morning of appointments,
I bought these bowls.

I love them.

They're lovely! I'm awake late too as I made the mistake of having a coffee granita rather too late in the evening ...

They are beautiful! I would love them too.

I recently treated myself w/2 new books . . . way cheaper than a new handbag! :)

And china has the distinct advantage of being
a) long lasting and
b) non fattening.

Unlike my treat of choice which is baked goods. Oops.

The bowls are so beautiful. Definitely a woman after my own heart (as you might have already noticed from my blog pictures)! Although nothing wrong with a new handbag...

The bowls are beautiful Alice...I buy teatowels, paper napkins or handmade soap. Thats my thing, it doesn't take much.

Once upon a time I too bought china, I still gaze on it longingly in stores. But my husband is so clumsy I have now reached the point where I know that my china purchases are destined to be broken, usually within weeks of purchase. Your purchases are lovely.... sigh...

They're beautiful...china does it for me, too. Who needs a handbag?

They are sooooo pretty. I too collect blue china. I have a nice little collection of Spode.

And what do you envision in the bowls?

I would love to eat my yogourt and blueberries out of such a bowl.

My goodness you have been busy.
And the bowls are lovely.
And I agree with you (and MissM) about sunshine, and spruce, and terracotta.
