Pomegranate
Why?
Because it is a Super Food
and will protect me against wrinkles, cellulite
and things that go bump in the night.
What are you going to do with it?
Make a jewelled fruit salad.
Dragon Fruit
Why?
Why not?
What are you going to do with it?
I am going to put it in my fruit bowl
and pretend that I eat Dragon Fruit all the time.
Cape Gooseberries
Why?
Because they are pretty.
What are you going to do with them?
MissM can dip them in chocolate
and give them to her friends
Custard Apple
(the photogenic side)
Why?
Because it was half price.
What are you going to do with it?
I have no idea.

Wow, Alice, how cool! Other than the pomegranate, I've never heard of these. They look like fun. Thanks for the new links, too.
A dragon fruit has the most amazing colour, doesn't it.
I see your horizons have broadened. I lost myself for an hour with the previous links list. I guess the washing can wait....
In my experience, dragon fruit look much better than they taste. On the other hand, custard apples are divine.
Enjoy!
We are told we should eat five portions of fruit or veg per day but I'm not sure that links are good for the health. The are a bit like chocolate, one has difficulty knowing when to stop. Mind you, having read Tracey's blog and some of her links, I am quite nervous about putting finger to keyboard and have to recheck my grammar, punctuation and spelling twice over before posting!
I love cape gooseberries, although admittedly apart from the pomegranate I have not tried the others! Thanks for the mention!!!
Why do I always feel like it takes a year off my life just to deal with a pomegranate?
The only fruit on that list I have tried is custard apple and as Ali said they are delicious.
The others I admire but know in my heart would just rot in my fruit bowl.
so many new blogs...so little time...
I love pomegranates. I particularly love whacking them with a spoon to make the seeds fall out. Very therapeutic.
the pomegranate looks so festive,
now I just need to find a spare hour to check out all those new links!
Pomegranates are a favorite of mine. I add the seeds to a spring greens and arugula (sp) salad with a chopped apple, dried cranberries or cherries, feta or goat cheese crumbled, toasted almonds and raspberry vinegrette. I could eat this salad every day! Thank you for placing me in your bloglist.
thanks for all the new links! I just found two new to me blogs that I love.
