Moss

Moss is the only thing to photograph now.

Can I create an inspiring post with pictures of moss?

It is not photogenic.

It only looks good next to something else.

I think that I had better abandon this post now.

Not everything is worth blogging about.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You have the knack of making all your posts inspiring and definitely worth blogging about.

You certainly can inspire with moss! It's one of my favourite things in the whole world.

No moss in the tropics. I find a silent joy in its novelty... until I slide on a mossy pathway.

Isn't moss one of those handy Ray Mears survival tips, only growing on the north side of trees etc. Hard to tell when it is on the ground though. Perhaps one needs a portable Christmas tree with integral moss to find one's way about the urban environment.

I love the sort of moss that is so thick and velvety, it's like sitting on a luxurious cushion. And the colour!
So it's good to be reminded of it in your post, thankyou!

I loved the fourth photo down - the fronds of moss looked like distant pine trees on a dark landscape

Moss is not on the list of things not worth blogging about...
incredible sinus congestion and pounding headaches are on the list of things not worth blogging about.

Hmmm...maybe i should try.. Its been getting down to 10 degrees Farenheit here ..I should take a walk in the woods and see whats up. I like the last picture. I agree with you. Maybe you need to find a place where its growing between stones or cracks in walls. Lichen is cool. We have lichen and moss. Perhaps it will look better in the spring.

I've been trying to cultivate moss between the paving slabs in our garden for years. It is remarkably stubborn when it wants to be.
