It is a wet, windy evening.
MrsM and MissM have watched Little Women (1949)
MissM makes the following observations:
I noticed that Beth was the same actress
as Tootie in Meet Me In St. Louis
Did you know that Peter Lawford
was a member of the original Rat Pack
and that he was the last person to see Marilyn Monroe alive?
Elizabeth Taylor stole the show as Amy.
The snow was actually cornflakes! Isn't that amazing!

I thought it was interesting
that they decided to cut the scene where Beth dies.
MissM
They didn't.
You fell asleep.

So long as he didn't snore he can hold his head high. One should never snore during Beth's death scene.
MissM will be giving Jonathan Ross a run for his money soon!
I was going to say that other than falling asleep that sounds like the perfect evening.
Actually falling asleep sounds perfect too.
oh dear, I fell asleep during something I really wanted to watch the other night, but at least no-one noticed...
No, no...in the UK release of that film they DID cut the scene where Beth dies.
Ha - I'm so glad I'm not the only one!
