The First Rose of Summer

Boule de Neige

An appropriate name for a chilly May.

What a beautiful beautiful picture, the rose is just like flowering snow.

I thought it was getting warmer? Well at least the flowers are happy.

Enjoy your spring!

Ah, spectacular! Yes, as I've shivered my way through April and May, I've kept reminding myself that it's good for the roses. In my neck of the woods, it's likely to turn sweltering any minute now...

It's all my fault. I agreed to do the 'c' thing again. Yup, were camping this weekend, so snow is likely.

Perfect in your blue and white vase. They look scented, are they?

Download that onto a memory stick or CD. Walk to your closest photo printing place. Have it printed to canvas. Have canvas stretched.

Hang on wall.

Off you go!

I'm freezing here too.

Beautiful! It has been chilly here too and wet! I am still waiting for my flowers to bloom.

Lovely, Alice. Our Zephirine Drouhin is flowering now which fills me with joy as it took a good year to settle down and stop sulking.

But hold on there - blogless Kristina is going to have a blog? Yay!!!!

I want to stick my nose right into that pic!

Found you via Blackbird

Those roses are quite lovely - do you live somewhere exotic? - there's not the faintest hint of a rose here.
