Poor Master M. Having just defused a potentially nasty travel situation/issue I have total empathy for Master M.
Aw, gee, just when he's got some jaunty new footwear and everything! Here's hoping that the Family Magic does the trick...
I am sorry your son is ill but how fortunate to nurse him through the flu before he leaves rather than hear of him sick overseas! Plus your remedies are hilarious so getting the flu in your house can't be all bad.

This is a pre-disaster. It means that nothing bad can happen during the trip. Be glad of it, it will be gone soon, then a healthy trip awaits.
Urgh, that's bad luck- but then as the others have said, also very good luck to be safe from the dreaded bug during the trip.
Hopefully Lord of the Rings willl scare the beastly bug away.

What wonderful flu remedies. I do think the NHS should prescribe poorly teddies and special Lemsip mugs--I think we would all recover much more quickly. I'm positive Master M will be feeling better very soon! K x
