Yesterday we had coffee and cake
in The Parlour at Fortnum & Masons.
Delicious!
Each cup of coffee has a tiny ice cream!
Irresistible!
And then we went downstairs
and bought chocolates from MasterM.
Self Indulgent!
Alas, my body is starting to feel uncomfortably like
a Temple to cake, ice-cream and chocolate
so emergency action is called for.
Today, it is homemade Turkey broth for lunch...

Exquisite!
I am a big fan of cake.
(and I mean big)
OH!! I must tell you..your word verification is 'disist'!
That baby ice cream cone in its little holder is as cute as the dickens! I hear you on the austerity measures, though. Steamed veggies, here I come...
I am enjoying the last of the snow chilled ales... and then no more beer for me until the next feast.
I am not far behind you in this either!
what beautiful food!
I am about to consume as much chocolate as I possibly can in one sitting and then
My body too will become a temple!
Cheese has been my nemesis - not in the waistline dept, but one spot for each mouthful is a high price to pay when you've eaten as much as I have.
*le sigh* Again you tease me with metions of my favourite place - AND with cake and ice-cream too!
Oh my goodness--combining two of my favorite things: coffee and ice cream! I've never been to The Parlour. Perhaps I need to add this to the to-do list.
Although I am feeling a bit of healthier eating might be in order here now as well...
K x
that's it. I'm getting on a train.
But the ice cream is so tiny, it can't possibly hurt you.
such delights of gastronomy make me feel relieved that I live nowhere near such temptations.......
well, it was cruel of you to get in so much details about all the gorgeous things you're indulged in.
I'm very envious.
that cake looks delicious!! (or dolishiooth, as No 3 says)
My body is becoming ever more like the Great Temple, I fear! Turkey broth, swimming and brisk walks from now on...
Thanks for visiting mine, this is a most delicious blog. Happy New Year!
Wow that looks really good!
I am right there with you. I need to cut back starting today. Although I have not had andything so decadent.
Everything looks so delicious, how could you not partake!
That tiny ice-cream in its tiny little holder has just made my day. Whoever came up with that idea should get the Nobel Peace Prize!!
Personally, I have been indulging in meringues and cream. It's a birthday tradition.
A birthday WEEK tradition.
Tiny ice creams? It would take a stronger woman than me (I?) to resist such a treat!
Happy New Year to all the Magpies ...
Those tiny icecreams look so absolutely gorgeous... as does the cake too. No wonder you couldn't resist!
The tiny icecream! How exquisite.
