Paws for Thought

I would like to draw your attention
to the little known fact that
many writers owe their success
to their Cocker Spaniels.

Elizabeth Barrett Browning

Virginia Woolf

Enid Blyton

Cocker Spaniels are renowned for their
sharp intelligence,
classical features
and total loyalty.
It is not surprising that they are inspirational.

Having said all that...
it does depend on what material you have to work with.
I try my best with MrsM.

Love
Poppy

p.s. Bonjour, Molly

Watch out Poppy - you remember what she did to MrM when he was naughty...

My children have this week gone from intense fear of dogs to asking whether we can have one. I dare not let them see the pictures of these lovely creatures!

I so want a black and white one but hubby (Firegazer) doesn't trust dogs with long floppy ears. Bleh. I'll get one when he's not looking.

I am thinking that Poppy is a bit camera shy. We need to see more picture of her!

Hmmm... so I can blame my writing on Monty's being a Springer instead of a Cocker Spaniel?

What a relief:-)

I feel sure that Eliz BB is cuddling a Dachshund in that pic.
We have the Pointer..a balder taller version of the Cocker Spaniel.
