So - what is a mother to do?
She has to empty out the pockets
of the pair of jeans that travelled around Europe
before they are safe for the washing machine.
Is she to close her eyes?
Must she respect her son's privacy?
Errr...I'm thinking that
he should have emptied his own pockets.
Let's hope there are no Croatian linguists
in my blog readership
who can identify embarrassing purchases.
I like to think of him eating
Lusty IceCream in Germany.
It all seems a long way away
from conkers and acorns.

Of course you closed your eyes:-)
Mind you, nothing there looked that incriminating...
(Hoping that you didn't find anything to disturb you that you're still keeping hidden!)
N.
and stones and bits of string - those were the days eh?
You're very brave indeed to put your hand in there - but then pockets here usually have ends of biscuits and the odd melty Starburst. Lovely!
Do they have Banana Splits in Croatia ? Or Spaghetti Eis only ?
And here's me thinking you were really going to show poor Master M up!
You had me scrolling down looking for something ucky! SORRY!
(Welcome home x)
He should empty his own pockets - he's old enough. Anything you find like money, or unused tickets are yours. ( maybe they were his souvenirs )
It all looks fairly innoculous to me... and I've emptied a few pockets in my time!
So incredibly glad to have you back here.
And so incredibly relieved that apparently there was nothing too incriminating in the boy's pockets.
Although I am no expert in croatian!
That all could have been a lot worse. The Croatian thing looks like a travel or admission ticket because I see the word "person" and then "1".
Unless he's been dabbling in the Eastern European slave trade?
Oh fantastic! I'm so glad you are back. What a way to start a difficult week!
I had to stop our washing machine this morning as a stone that had been in someones pocket was threatening to smash the glass door, so I guess it's better to empty.....
Not too bad! oh I have washed a lip gloss before! Not pretty! Oh and there was the time I washed HES'S cell phone!
looks like a great time was had - funny the stories that the contents of a pocket can tell!
Of course you would be excused by him for going through his pockets..but does he know you showed it to us?
