A Circular Argument

If you chop leeks

and peel potatoes

and slice bread

you can make cheese on toast

and float it on soup.

Which is a good thing to do
on a cold, wet day.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm. Just finished homemade cream of broccoli myself, with dumplings.

Snap. I made leek and potato soup yesterday but topped it off with some creme fraiche. Will try your version next time.

I'm using all of my vegetables in salads - much too hot for soup. I'll pop by for some in July.

Yum yum. We have leftover sausage rolls from the freezer - I think I developed a bit of a siege midset just before Christmas ...

oh just what I need to defrost my frozen fingers, to wrap them round a mug of hot soup, but tea will have to do.......

A great favourite in this household, we have it almost once a week at this time of year. Strangely the non-cheese eating child does not mind cheese like this!

That looks like a wonderful thing to do to a leek and potato soup.

What a perfect Sunday supper ... or any cold evening. It's just tonight is very cold and very snowy in western pa and soup sounds just right.

I need some of that! It is so cold here!

Too warm for soup here now - but I have tucked that away in my memory bank...
