The Truth about Cupcakes

One cupcake is enchanting.

Two cupcakes are charming.

Seven cupcakes are amusing.

One hundred and fifty cupcakes are a labour of love.

Do you mind if we don't talk about cupcakes for a while?
if you are considering this idea
I would recommend putting the love hearts on at the last moment
because they absorb moisture from the icing.
I think that jelly sweets are more successful e.g. hearts from Haribo Starmix.

Oh those are very lovely - what a brilliant idea for decoration. My girls have just discovered LoveHearts - we may have to try this I think. Though they've just asked for a chocolate Smartie train swiss roll extravaganza - might that work for the wedding? No? Thought not.

I would just like to stated on 'public record' what an amazing wife MrsM is - I can assure you that the cakes taste as good as they look !

I did worry for her sanity when she volunteered for this challenge but I have no doubt that this project will come in on schedule. A well earned holiday from all of this at the end of next week beckons.

Wow, what wonderful looking cakes. They all look perfect - now, if only they could develop one of those Wonka TV transmission devices (Roald Dahl's invention where you can have chocolate bars sent to your tv, only it would have to be a computer monitor in this case)...

Oh, but these are marvelous! I love the idea of cupcakes for a wedding instead of the "traditional" cake! Well done--these are so beautiful. I would love to eat one...Any chance of leftovers? LOL! ;o)
