... having a jolly time here in Europe ...have now moved onto Prague which is rather nice ... Berlin was fun - saw lots of stuff...
Anyways, I am pretty sure that my bank account must be nearly empty ...so can you inject an appropriate amount into it to keep me going for the meanwhile... I trust your judgement regarding the money!

Somehow that old Allan Sherman song came to me after two lines from MasterM.
Hmmm...it's the end of the month, and I'm pretty sure MY bank account must be about empty too. So if you decide that this money injection business really suits you, then let me know.

There's something adorable about the cheek of it though...somehow.
Oh! It all sounds so familiar....
I should of course state for the avoidance doubt, and for the benefit of MasterM, that the drill is that this is being added to the general tour tab so I am acting as transactional banker with no interest or admin fees being applied though (yet).
This is part of the parenting manual that I did not know existed - long range travel agent and banker. All seems to have worked so far though.
A friend in Ireland did tell me several years ago when talking of his 25 year old son, "Children are never completely off the payroll", which is a lesson I took on board.
MasterM seems to have learned the lesson that if one asks nicely and says thank you afterwards his chances of a favourable response are increased considerably. An early student of theory of mind or how to get things done.
Ha! Sounds as if the trip is going well then.
After reading Mr.M's comment, I am hereby suggesting (demanding?) a guest post appearance now and then...
