Asters

I am a late-comer to the Aster Party.

I don't think I have ever bought them
before this year.
Such bright warm colours...
such fresh soft leaves...

I can't imagine why
I didn't know about them before

Beautiful photos Alice, I love the shadow. I think those Asters you have are particualarly blowsy, I don't remember them being so full of petals?
But the colours of them, lovely lovely, I'm sure you could find a fantastic name for that shade of Aster Pink?

I love asters, I have some almost flourescent ones in the garden. Funny, I don't like bright colours anywhere else.

I just planted three Asters in my garden...they're purple and gorgeous. Germans love Asters. They're everywhere.

Dear Mr M...You would need to spend a LOT of money on asters to make enough for a suitable presentation bunch. Stick with what you know. Be on the safe side.

I must look into asters for our plot. I've never bought or grown them, but those are just gorgeous. K x

I saw wild ones in New England this fall. Very pretty, even late in the season.
