Family Portrait

There are times

when I realise

how much I love my family

and I wonder

if my heart will burst.

Aw, I know that feeling well. It's an exquisite kind of discomfort, isn't it? (Always a treat to catch a glimpse of your lovely visage, Alice...)

Are you really that tall...I mean, short? I mean, round? Wait, no, TALL?

Lynn is right - "an exquisite kind of discomfort."

This post is exquisite in so many ways.

It's ALICE in Wonderland! Get it? ALICE...in Wonderland...Through the Looking Glass...

Yes, you got it the first time.

Love the photos inside the house of mirrors. I'm snorting at your squatty, stumpy legs. And giggling at your long, skinny spider legs.

Ms.M in particular, looks as though her legs begin just under her chin. Much like mine do.

We went to the fair last night and after allowing the boys to consume candyfloss, I realised there are times when I'd really like to throttle my family.

Nice to see your light at the end of the tunnel!

the photos are too funny! :)

the sentiment just too true. Sometimes it hurts. Tangible hurt. Good job I'm a bit of a masochist!

It also hurts to laugh so hard that ribs ache about Miss M and the Swiss family. Our children roleplay it regularly but their friends it would seem have no idea! Another reason to make my heart swell!

You know - pretty much what everyone else has said.

That heartbursting feeling is very familiar!

You love them in all their shapes and sizes, but how about bearded?!?

I know the feeling. Though occasionally, bursting might be a welcome relief ;-)

I agree with the sentiment, bust on another topic-its nice to see a picture of you even though you are distortedby a mirror. I have to tell you that a picture of me may also appear to have been distorted by a mirror, should I choose to upload one...which I won't....

Bust? !!!! I meant butt! No..'but'

I've got a warm gooey feeling and they're not even my family. It's such a great feeling. Sad, that some never get to experience it in full.
