Paws for Thought

Poppy speaks out on The Green Agenda:

Think of ways of saving energy...
Here are some of my favourite tips:

Reuse water - give your friends a shower
when you have had a bath.

Keep warm in the winter - wear a fur coat.

Reduce food miles - let the postman come to you.

Recycle that stick when it gets thrown away.

Be aware of your carbon footprint - don't sit too close to the fire.

Make a commitment not to waste food.

Remember...
we do not own the earth
we are merely custodians
for the next generation.

Love
Poppy x

Poppy has sense. It is not good to sit close to the fire when one is wearing fur.

Poppy, ever thought of entering into politics? You would go far. You have spoken more sense that any 2 legged being I've heard for a very long time!

Sounds like she's got it sussed - I vote Poppy for Secretary of State for the Environment - or maybe even Prime Minister :o)

Oh Poppy is so cute! And very smart! I wondered what she looked like. That is a very good picture. Chloe is sitting here with me and is quite impressed!

Tex is captivated with the beautiful Ms. Poppy. And rightly so.

One look at her smoldering good looks and he was smitten. She is quite the vixen...

(He also wanted me to mention something about natural daily garden fertilization being eco-friendly. But I told him no. That's just a little too personal, Tex.)

Poppy, I always love your insights and wisdom. Very helpful to a young dog trying to learn what it's all about. Do you have any tips for removing fresh cowpat stains from a golden retriever's coat? My Mum would be most grateful...I was over enthusiastic in my rolling efforts this morning, and am now a shade of pale green. Mum has shampooed me, but she's not very pleased. I did have an audience...they gasped in horror. It was such fun! Walter x
