Christmas Cards

I love Christmas Cards.

Card 2006

I spend a lot of time choosing exactly the right one.

Card 2003

As MissM so perceptively said:
'They are important for our Family Image'

Card 2004

The picture and shape must be Just So.
And of course they must support a Worthwhile Charity.

Card 2005

This year they came from Peter Jones in Sloane Square.
Very Smart.

Card 2007

All of which makes you wonder why
I am so disorganised about writing them.

This year I can't even find my address book.

Aaaaarrgghh.

I send out 4 or 5 different ones and the decision is monumental.

At my Aunt's gathering we have a tacky Christmas card contest each year - watch for the winners as I'll post them.

I like the '07 card especially. I'm reasonably good at buying cards -- the difficulty is *always* in the subsequent steps. Especially mailing. One year I ended up with a box of cards that I never did mail to people. Written, addressed: okay, not actually stamped, but....

All of the cards are splendid--your card for this year no exception! Somehow the easiest part is choosing the card...to get them all writtend, stamped and off is another matter. I think Santa should send us some extra elves just to help us get that card done! Happy week to you all ((HUGS))

That's very amusing, but very spot on about the choice of Christmas card! I always feel honoured to receive a lovely card, and that the sender should think I'm worth it!

they are all beautiful.
I used to worry about getting cards out on time, my new philosophy is that cards that arrive "late" extend the festive season...

I so agree with Miss M on that - and I am awful when it comes to choosing too and can spend hours (no, days!) making my decision...sometimes I so want to be outside my own head and to instead inhabit the head of someone decisive and less finnikity.

I partiucularly love the last one.

I used to make all mine. This year I helped the children at school make theirs. I think that counts ;-)

Yours are lovely.
