Shame on you for giving away family secrets. These recipes have enormous commercial value. The one for treacle tart recently changed hands for over £500. As punishment, the secret ingredient for barbecue sauce will only be revealed posthumously!

The very idea of vinegar - even a smidge in secret, curls my hair. Now, orange rind I can get behind.

beautiful! I love pies but if i made them there would be no one to eat them.
My mum makes great ones too with lemon zest and crushed almonds.
Fortunately for me I have a good baker in the village!
